Transcription of MS-Papers-11035. Digital files are electronic transcriptions of the following three diaries: The first, 21 Sep - 31 Dec 1914 starts with military life in New Zealand, and his travel by troopship to Egypt, and camp life there. The second diary, 1 Jan - 13 May 1915 relates to experiences in Egypt, at Gallipoli and on board a hospital ship after being wounded.
The third diary, 14 May - 17 Jul 1915 continues his description of the voyage to England and his convalescence there.
