Description

Depicts politicians Tony Ryall, Bill English and John Key as vultures picking over the bones of two skeletal creatures labelled 'Air New Zealand' and 'Asset Referendum'. Text at the top of the cartoons reads, 'Financial wizards', however the word 'wizards' has been crossed out and replaced by the word 'buzzards'. The animal labelled 'Asset Referendum' asks, "Aren't they supposed to wait until after we're dead??" Refers to controversy over the government's sale of Air New Zealand shares ahead of a referendum on asset sales.
