Under the caption 'Sri Lanka gifts elephant to NZ - News', an elephant is shown having stamped on a very flattened Prime Minister, John Key, who is saying 'I directly questioned the Sri Lankan president on his human rights record, and I think I made an impression'.
On 18 November 2013 After the Commonwealth meeting, Sri Lanka said that it would send an elephant to New Zealand as a symbol of friendship. Sri Lanka's Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa praised the relationship between the two countries on TVNZ's Q and A. While other countries had called for an inquiry into alleged war crimes committed at the end of the civil war between the government and Tamil separatists, Prime Minister John Key questioned whether it was necessary and what it would achieve.
