Under the caption 'Choice...The frying pan or the fire...' two possible emigrants ponder the options of jumping from the frying pan of 'Earthquake prone NZ' into the fire of Australia. 'Mother Nature' controls both the frying pan and the fire.
In October 2013 large bushfires swept much of New South Wales. The effect on many families and communities had been compared with that of the ruin inflicted by the Christchurch earthquakes on families and communities. Many people thinking to leave New Zealand for Australia might find that the forces of nature could be devastating and unpredictable there as well.
