Description

Uncle Sam, mounted on a children's toy rocket labelled 'US Diplomacy' and carrying sword and two six-shooters, which also appear to be toys, plays a game of make-believe in screaming out 'Charge!'

International negotiations over the Syrian civil war and the introduction of chemical weapons had highlighted the difficulties that the United States faced in diplomacy - despite threats, the country was reluctant to have military involvement yet again in the Middle East.
