Commodore Frank Bainimarama, with the comment 'Fiji's not going to fall for that old trick', turns down an olive branch offered by a kiwi.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Murray McCully, in September 2013 approved Commodore Bainimarama's promised that the new Fijian constitution providing for free elections would be in place by 2014 and announced the easing of sanctions against that country.
