Cartoon shows a kiwi napping in a lounge chair in front of the television. A voice on the television in 2011 says, "Thank you NZ for voting the National govt. back in! It is a decisive mandate for our manifesto. We can now implement our privatisation agenda.' In 2013, the tv voice says, "NZ state assets are now for sale!" which wakes the kiwi up. The horrified kiwi asks, "How did that happen?! We need a referendum."
