Accompanying note from the cartoonist states, "Did Australia elect Tony Abbott despite his hair-raising deficiencies or [please not] because of them....". Cartoon shows a man reading the newspaper, which is full of negative articles about Abbott, and says, "Tony Abbott sounds like a living dream. Let's hope he lives up to all the hype."
