An office manager tells The Politician that his staff are using their computers for non-work related activities. The Politician promises to investigate 'as soon as this live streaming of the America's Cup is over.'
The workplace use of computers for other than official business was widespread and covered all levels of staff and management. Attempts to control their use to business only seemed to be doomed to failure, especially during September 2013 when the challenge of the New Zealand yacht Emirates Team New Zealand for the America's Cup aroused great interest among the New Zealand public.
