Description

The Politician after a challenger's debate tells a reporter that he won because he had received 'more laughs' than his opponent. When the reporter asks about his policies, the Politician's aide unhelpfully describes them as also laughable.

Refers to the leadership debates held by the New Zealand Labour Party after the resignation of David Shearer on 22 August 2013. David Cunliffe, Grant Robertson and Shane Jones were the contenders.
