- Description
A two panel cartoon: in panel one a man comments to another that "Plans to drop a bomb or two on those responsible are gathering pace!" and the other replies "The yanks have been itching for an excuse to whack assad!" The cartoonist then reveals the confusion by showing the newspaper heading one man is reading, which says 'Fonterra lab tests wrong' and the first man replying "Who?". Refers to the announcement that bacteria discovered in Fonterra products earlier in August were not capable of causing botulism, as first thought. Also refers to the political relations between the United States and Syria.
