Description

Leader of the Labour Party, David Shearer holds up a small red snapper, stating, "Not very long, a bit stinky and you know it will get worse the longer its around... But enough about my leadership, let's get back to this fish..." Refers to a debate in Parliament over fishing quotas in which Shearer held up two differently sized dead snapper to make his point.
