Description

The Minister of Housing, Nick Smith, in the role of a real estate agent, stands in front of a facade of a house. Behind the facade there is nothing.

In August 2013, the Housing Minister, Nick Smith, turned the first sod to open a project to construct new houses in Northern Glen Innes and visited one of the last state houses in the Hutt region to receive insulation under Housing New Zealand's energy eficeiency retrofit programme. These could only be window-dressing: the housing crisis in Christchurch and Auckland remained.
