Depicts two children sitting in a treehouse discussing whether politicans who pass laws which have a detrimental effect on children will be covered under a new law to punish child abusers. The little man character scoffs. Refers to Social Development Minister Paula Bennett announcing proposed changes to child protection laws to curb child abuse following the release of a White Paper for Vulnerable Children in October 2012. Three bills, the Vulnerable Children Act, Child Harm Prevention Orders Act, Children, Young Persons and their Families (Vulnerable Children) Amendment Act are to be introduced in August or September 2013 (Stuff 13 Aug 2013).
