Shows two comic fans in superhero costumes at the New Zealand Cartoonist Convention. One clutches a 'Hipster Guide to NZ' and they declare it the "lamest Comic-Con ever!" New Zealand cartoonists Peter Bromhead and Tom Scott sit at the table clutching pencils and there is a set of dentures in a glass. Wider context refers to an article 'NZ Ink' by Karl du Fresne noting that most of New Zealand's leading cartoonists are now in their sixties or seventies and were showing their age. The two costumed figures indicate a different kind of interest in cartoons, with large-scale Comic Conventions drawing thousands of visitors worldwide and providing a very different kind of experience to the older generation's more traditional conventions.
