Description

The Duke of Edinburgh, reading a newspaper headlined 'Murray wins Wimbledon - Knighthood likely', remarks to Prince Charles that a knighthood for winning Wimbledon is ridiculous, but 'Charles how do you feel about dropping to second in line?'

The British public and media were ecstatic over the Scotsman Andy Murray winning the Wimbledon tennis championship in July 2013, the first time a Briton had won for 36 years. A knighthood had been proposed.
