Description

The president of an unnamed country admires the cactus presented to him as 'a gift from the American ambassador' installed in his office. The cactus is in the shape of a person eavesdropping. The cartoonist's comment is 'I spy with my little...'

Leaks arising out of the Edward Snowden affair had revealed that the United States National Security Agency had been spying on US allies in the European Union, particularly Germany and France. Reaction from those countries was strong.
