Description

Against a background referring to the recent military coup in Egypt against the elected government of Mohamed Morsi, two women comment. One says 'Things must be pretty bad in Egypt if a military coup is genuinely worth celebrating'. The other says 'They are and it is'.

Accompanying note from cartoonist states 'Irrespective of all other issues in Egypt, the use of rape as a political weapon is chilling. Why does this phenomenon of Tahrir Square get so little media attention?'

During the protests against President Morsi in Tahrir Square in July 2013, many women were raped by counter-deminstrators, led by President Morsi's party, the Islamic Brotherhood.
