- Description
Shows two fishermen on a wharf with sunken boats labelled 'teacher morale', 'school boards morale' and 'parents' morale'. The men comment: "What's Hekia Parata been to France for anyway?" "Refresher course at sabotage school, I imagine." Refers to Parata's attendance at an Education Conference in France in March, following the 'shake-up' of Christchurch schools in February. The cartoonist compares her actions with that of the French saboteurs who bombed the Greenpeace ship, the Rainbow Warrior, in 1985.
