Shows an aircraft (National) with Jim McLay aboard dropping George Gair (Older generation), Bill Birch (Think big) and Rob Muldoon (Muldoonism) overboard. Accompanying note from cartoonist states 'McLay finally ditched his old guard; George Gair, Bill Birch and Rob Muldoon. It was a fatal mistake as they then conspired to have him replaced by Jim Bolger'.
