Shows Geoffrey Palmer and Roger Douglas beside a canon (Words) which fails to hit its target of a fat bird (High prices) which sits on a tree branch above them. Palmer tells Douglas "Well Roger... I detect few signs of fear and trembling and a frantic rush to descend!". Accompanying note from cartoonist states 'Roger Douglas reluctant to use Muldoonist controls, made a valiant attempt to convince manufacturers and others that they needed to hold price increases. It had little effect as inflation increased'.
