Shows Finance Ministr Roger Douglas on his knees praying to the patron saint of free market economists. Behind is a box (New Zealand economy) with a fragile sticker that is sitting on piles of dynamite (Wage round, interest rates, dollar value) that are lit. Accompanying note from cartoonist states 'Douglas's free market policies were starting to look a little shaky as all economic indicators seemed stuck on bad. Milton Friedman was the economic guru of the free market Chicago school who was the brains behind Reaganism and Thatcherism'.
