Description

Colour transparencies of scenes from the North Island of New Zealand taken by Leslie Barnett on family camping and caravan travels in 1980. Includes scenes from Rotorua, including the Barman's House at the Buried Village of Te Wairoa and thermal mud pools; Huka Falls, and Napier's waterfront and Mission Estate Winery. Also includes images from Wellington, including views of the Beehive, the Lady Norwood Rose Garden at the Wellington Botanic Garden, and a view from the top of the Wellington Cable Car. Two slides show the beginning and end of the ferry journey between Wellington and Picton.
