Includes comments on Muldoon's 'demonic eyes', 'Piggy nose - cunning swine', 'pathological smirk', 'eel-like mouth' and his 'traditional pear-shaped head based on the classic caricature of King Louis Philippe XVII of France by Daumier'. Recent context refers to leader of the Green Party, Russel Norman, likening Key to the earlier New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Robert Muldoon at the party's annual conference in Christchurch on 1 June. The cartoonist's comment may also refer to wider claims by a number of cartoonists that current Prime Minister John Key is a difficult subject because of his lack of distinctive features.
