- Description
In a quiet country pub in middle New Zealand, the barman comments as he reads the newspaper 'The Nats seem to have got away with reneging on their promise to fix MMP!' His solitary, half-awake customer asks 'With what?'.
The report from the Commission to investigate improvement to the Multi Member Proportional system of voting was completed by May 2013. The government decided not to act on the report. Despite this affecting their choice of government, most New Zealanders greeted this with indifference.
