Photographs taken 19 September 2012 by Dylan Owen of climate change protestors demonstrating outside the Amora Hotel, Wellington. Shows protestors holding placards, a Mana Party flag and banners, Gareth Hughes, Green Party MP, speaking, young female protestor with loudhailer. Protestors include Paul Bruce, Greater Wellington Regional Councillor and Patrick Morgan in elephant costume as the climate change elephant in the room, with Adam Kennett.

New Zealand Petroleum Summit conference delegates attended a cocktail party hosted by Haliburton at the Amora Hotel on 19 September 2012. Haliburton is one of the world's largest oil and gas companies and was involved in the United States war in Iraq.
