Description

Colour transparency slides of North Island scenes, taken ca mid to late 1950s and 1960s by Peter Vaizey Conley. All are unidentified but the photographer describes this set as 'Marsden Point', 'Kerikeri', Wellington trip', 'Auckland', and 'Fairmont'. Contains:

Several views of energy-generating complexes, including Marsden Point oil refinery, and a large dam.

Two exterior views of the Leopard Inn, Marine Parade, Napier.

One photograph of a sign at Karangahake gold camp.

Two waterfront scenes, probably Auckland, showing large ships docked at wharfs, and a small seaplane.
