The Politician comments to his assistant that Defence Force morale is at an all-time low, and when asked "how low?" he replies "They're signing up for the North Korean armed forces, the conditions are better." Refers to wider studies over the past year into record low morale in the New Zealand Defence Force and the high attrition. Also refers to the increasingly tense situation in North Korea with Kim Jong-Un taking an increasingly provocative stance towards the United States.
