- Description
Under the title 'Baby left in vehicle in carpark, had a note' is a cartoon of the incident, with the cartoonist's version of the note: 'Who turned off the radio? I was listening to the cricket!'
Refers to a news item of a baby being left in a Porirua carpark with a note. The date of the incident (25 March 2013) coincides with the third cricket test between New Zealand and England which had the attention of much of the nation. Perhaps New Zealanders have too much interest in sport and too little in their children's welfare?
