Shows a view of St Stephen's Chapel, Parnell, from Judges Bay. Below and to the right of the chapel is Sir William Martin's residence; behind it is probably Attorney-General Swainson's house. Other houses and smaller buildings can be seen towards the water's edge
Judges Bay was named for Martin and Swainson, who both resided there
On the verso is a pencil drawing of a house with two small outbuildings, unidentified; it is possibly by a different artist
