Description

The Waikato Expressway was expected to be finished in 2013. As the news item notes, the Minister of Transport, Steven Joyce, emphasised the road's benefits in cutting travel time and fuel usage. Or, as the characters in the cartoon remark, the road could just enable more transport to travel further. Where would the the fuel and time saving be in that?
