Cartoon showing Members of Parliament Tariana Turia and Pita Sharples, co-leaders of the Maori Party, as birds sitting in a nest in a tree. Meanwhile, a cat paw with claws out labelled, 'Hone" reaches towards them. Turia looks nervous, and Sharples has his eyes closed. Refers to Hone Harawira, an MP who split with the Maori party in 2011 to form his own party, the Mana Party. There is speculation that Harawira may take over for Turia, who is standing down from leadership. (Newstalk ZB, 23 Jan 2013)
