Commentary from the artist: 'Even as the days are numbered for elephants, rhinos and whales, we seem to have huge "demand" for their body parts round the world. This is evidenced by the slaughter and cutting up of rhinos and elephants in Africa, and even the "butchering" of a whale corpse by Maori in recent days.'
