A view of a church, probably the Anglican church of St Mary the Virgin in Uttoxeter, with its spire and one of its trancepts in view. To the right is part of the vicarage, a two-storeyed Georgian building with ivy growing on the walls. The garden is well-established and partly obscures the view of the church
