Description

Jaimee says that she's selling 49% of the coffee machine. Debbie tells her it's not hers to sell, Jaimee states that it's the peoples', and thus they can buy it back. Tony asks about his traditional water rights, and Debbie confirms that they can't make coffee without Tony's water. Paula Bunnytt suggests sterilisation. Context: The Government is planning to sell up to 49 percent of four state-owned energy companies. These partial sales are expected to be done through a series of public Share Offers. New Zealanders will have the opportunity to buy shares in the companies for $1,000. The sales have been put on hold because the Maori Council has taken to the Waitangi Tribunal the question of who holds water rights - all New Zealanders, Maori iwi, no one, everyone, or whoever buys the power companies. Paula Bunnytt is a reference to Minister of Social Welfare Paula Bennett, who has been engaged in controversy over a reference to forced sterilisation.
