Description

The first of two frames shows 'a terrorist' raising a kalashnikov in the air and the second shows 'an American' doing the same thing. Context: the cartoon comments on the readiness of Americans to wield arms and on there being no real difference between an American with a kalashnikov rifle and a terrorist with the same weapon. The New York Times reports that the The factory that makes the famous Kalashnikov assault rifle is seeing a welcome boom, as demand of the civilian version of the AK-47 in the United States is growing.
