Description

Digital poster advertises a series of weekly lectures, 26 July - 30 August 2012 at his home Fontecolombo, in Bridgetown, Western Australia. Topics covered included Giotto's Arena Chapel frescoes, the poetry of Dante Alighieri and Michelangelo, works of Piero della Francesca, Petrarch's and Leopardi's poetry, and nineteenth century Italian painting. Two illustrations show details of works by Giotto (Betrayal of Christ) and Piero della Francesca (Nativity).

Dr Vincent Moleta was born and grew up in Wellington.
