Aerial photograph taken by Whites Aviation showing Prospect Road in Glen Eden, Auckland. Taken on 14 June 1956.
In the centre of the image are hen houses on poultry farms along Prospect Road. In the background, on the ridge, is the Titirangi Primary School and the School for the Deaf.
Prospect Road was renamed Rosier Road from February 1969. From 1942 to 1960, the Department of Education ran a residential School for the Deaf in the former Hotel Titirangi building.
