Shows a man representing the 'unions' complaining about being regarded as a 'political liability' by Bill Rowling, Labour Party leader after being regarded as a 'power base'; and a second man, this time representing farmers who complains that PM Muldoon sees him as a 'burden on the taxpayer' after having been regarded as the 'backbone of the country'. Context: The world of politics was changing with old alliances still in place but diminishing in influence as political parties sought to secure the vital middle class centre ground.
