The cartoon shows a dictator standing on the faces of four people. The dictator represents all dictators, the four 'clear' faces represent repressed but defiant people in all four corners of the world. The dictator's boots take up half his whole body length and symbolise the violence (in all its forms) used to repress. (notes by cartoonist)
