Refers to the $50,000 made by internet mogul Kim Dotcom as a contribution to John Banks' 2010 mayoral campaign in Auckland. Mr Banks maintains the donation was anonymous and that he had no knowledge of its being made. It is however believed that John Banks thanked Kim Dotcom in a phone conversation. John Banks claims not to remember much of the detail.
