- Description
A little train that represents 'New Zealand' and that trails a balloon bearing the words 'asset sales' trundles along a track complicated by its position on top of text reading 'The world economy'. The train driver remarks 'it's all Greek to us'. Context: Cartoon suggests the controversial sale of government assets is both uneconomic and holding New Zealand back economically in these tough economic times. The comment 'It's all Greek to me' is a reference to the dire state of Greek debt.
