Description

A view of Captain Cook at the water's edge at Kealakekua Bay, Hawaii. He and his men are mid-skirmish with a group of Hawaiian natives, and one directly behind Cook lifts a dagger to plunge into his back; the oblivious Cook gestures to his men in a rowboat at the left of the scene not to fire their weapons
