- Description
Trans Tasman rowers find themselves high and dry on top of a container. Refers to news that Team Gallagher members James Blake, Andrew McCowan and Nigel Cherrie passed under the Auckland Harbour Bridge on 20th January after crossing the Tasman. Team member team member Martin Berka was dropped off in the Bay of Plenty. The crossing took 59 days because of very rough weather. It refers also to the problem of containers from the wreck of the Rena floating in the sea and the ongoing work of unloading remaining containers from the ship.
