The cartoon shows the leader of NZ First, Winston Peters, caricatured on an enormous billboard that is advertising a show at the 'Museum of NZ Politics'. A man stares up at it and says 'One of our more popular relics!' Winston Peters is labelled 'Ol' Papa dour face'. Context: Winston Peters, leader of New Zealand First, retained his seat in the election on 26th November. New Zealand First, having won no seats in 2008 due to its failure to either reach the 5% threshold or win an electorate, made a comeback with 6.8% of the vote entitling them to eight seats.
