Paris, April 16 (ANI): Almost 64 percent of French have described voted Nicolas Sarkozy as the most unpopular president in the history of France, a poll has revealed. After a brief surge the poll results suggest that Sarkozy is heading for the electoral guillotine. The first round of the French presidential election 0n 22 April ended with the selection of Nicolas Sarkozy and Frangois Hollande as second round participants, as neither of them received a majority of votes cast in the first round. Hollande won the runoff (6 May) with a vote of 51.63% of the vote to Sarkozy's 48.37%. (Wikipedia)
