Prime Minister John Key and the Minister of Social Development Paula Bennett are exploding beneficiaries from a 'Big Bang Beneficiary Boom Box'. Context: Welfare changes have been announced that are targeting young people on benefits with the idea of getting them into work or training. But the government policy will do little to help disengaged young people unless accompanied by meaningful job creation policies and increased training opportunities.
