- Description
Two men stare at a polluted stretch of sea and are disgusted at the 'fouling of our clean green image.' The lower part of the cartoon shows that they are standing on top of an enormous barrel bearing a skull and crossbones and the words 'Farm leachate' which is leaking into the water. One of them says 'I hope they throw the book at the @*!!*!' Context: This appeared to be about the oil spillage from the grounded container ship Rena but is in fact about the fouling of waterways by farming runoff.
