Description

The scene is the cluttered front porch laundry of a house. As a man leaves the house with a banner saying 'Stop violence' his wife tells him that he is wasting his time. This so enrages him that he tells her he will thump her if she doesn't stop. In the lower right corner is a tiny mess of a dummy, a baby's bottle and a child's block with a tiny banner saying 'NZ killing fields'. Refers to growing disturbance about child abuse and killing in New Zealand. The matter brought to a head by the Kahui twins in 2006 and of Nia Glassie who died in 2007.
