Photographs of thermal activity in the Orakei Korako area ca 1940s with an older photograph of the Pink Terraces (photographer C Spencer). Also includes images of a rafting trip on the Waikato River in 1948 that relates to an enclosed newspaper clipping. Also included is a letter from the donor.
